We have restructured our organisation and consequently also our management team. New people have been appointed to various positions and responsibilities updated.
We have kept the organisation structure flat and agile in order to serve our customers as efficiently as possible. The new structure supports both the production of existing services and the development of new services as well as the expansion of the service portfolio.
Our organisation comprises support functions and the following profit centres. The Cable Network Services unit designs, builds, documents and maintains the telecommunication infrastructure nationwide. The Professional Services unit provides telecommunication related services which include e.g. 24/7 Network Operating Center, Security Operating Center, construction services, project management, PSTN/Mobile/Core/Access Network Operating Center and care services. Our customers are teleoperators and other communication network owners. We operate mainly from Finland but our customers are also global. The Power Distribution Network Services unit is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and repair of medium and low voltage grids. The Field Services unit designs, maintains and builds reliable mobile and data transmission networks. Our operation is based on strong regional presence nationwide. The Electricity Transmission Network and Smart Grid Services unit is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and repair of transmission networks and substations as well as for building solar power systems and electric vehicle charging stations. Boftel Estonia provides telecom services in Estonia and also operates in the Nordic countries, the Baltic countries, Eastern Europe and Russia.
