Today, 22 November 2023, we have signed an asset deal, in which our electricity network business will be transferred to Elvera, a company that provides network construction and infrastructure services.
The deal is still subject to the approval of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority. We will inform of the progress in the matter together with the buyer as and when we are able to do so.
As a result of the acquisition, Elvera will become one of the leading infrastructure service providers in Finland. Elvera is a financially sound, privately owned Finnish company with electricity, telecommunications, water and heat contracting services covering the entire country. The company has an important role in the design, construction and maintenance of critical infrastructure.
The business arrangement is part of our new strategy, enabling us to focus on the data networks business. Our collaboration with our data network clients will continue as normal also in the future.
We will focus on managing all our client accounts as agreed. We are committed to our work and to the successful and first-class management of client work. This work will continue as normal in all respects despite the acquisition process.
